Norberto was born in Spello in 1927. In 1962 his first exhibition abroad was held, and in 1971 he won the Premio Suzzara. The scenes depicted by the painter take place on a Middle Ages background. In some of his most famous works, the above landscape is occupied by a small town full of towers with fields below. Here there are monks constantly praying and working. Cesare Zavattini and Vittorio Sgarbi need to be mentioned among those who have written about Norberto’s work. Norberto currently lives and works in Spello.
