Sebastiano Sanguigni was born in L’Aquila in 1931. He first lived in Milan, then, while he was still young, he moved to Rome. Here he met Franz Borghese with whom he began a long relationship of professional appreciation and friendship. Sebastiano Sanguigni was particularly interested in nude, re-interpreting it with his lyric and seductive imagination. Later, he got interested in printing and sculpting techniques. Many art critics and artists have analysed his art, including Ugo Moretti, Toni Bonavita, Ennio Calabria, Alessandro Masi, Luigi Tallarico, Mario Lunetta. In 2001 Sebastiano Sanguigni moved to Brazil where he lived for two years before moving back to Italy. He currently lives and works in Lanuvio, in the Roman Castles area.
