In 1973, his acquaintance with the Master Renato Guttuso influenced his artistic production, which became enriched by a more vigorous definition of forms and chromaticism. The bright and vivid colors instill a diffused light in his canvases, in memory in the typical calm and sunny days of the Sicilian summer.
For a time he lived in Milan, but in the 1970s he returned to Sicily where, to this day, he lives and works.
